WILD ANIMALS at Oatland Island

Last Saturday afternoon, I put away photo editing in Lightroom to go on a little trip to the wildlife center on Oatland Island (Savannah’s attempt at a zoo). We didn’t really get far into it all because we got distracted with having fun and relaxing. We mostly hung around the farm animal section instead of venturing to the wolves and cougars. So we share a few of our favorite images from the two hour respite from work: the first one my (semi-formal) portrait of lovely Laura and Boaz, then on the right Laura’s (slightly more formal) portrait of father & son.

You don’t have to worry, Boaz has hidden wires holding him up in case he falls off the hand rail.

I love the light and greens in the greenhouse; it seems so invitingly soft and ethereal.

Again, my portrait of Laura and hers of me.
