Jodi & Karl at Fort Pulaski

I have the privilege of sharing actual photos; everything with the new house has been consuming so much of our time the past 3 weeks, but I was able to shoot Jodi and Karl’s engagement session yesterday at Fort Pulaski, near Tybee Island. It was such a joy (both to be with this fun couple, and to get out from construction mode!). I haven’t shot here before, so it was an adventure in new things for me. Also, I broke out the Holga for a little bit, so I’ll share those once I get them back from the lab. The air was brisk and 30+ mph wind kept us chilly, but we survived alright! On with the show:

I love the blowout backlighting along with the joy and love expressed.

Yes, we took a few shots in the tunnels; these were the cleanest, most well kept tunnels I’ve ever been in. The lighting was interesting with how it played off those archways.

I’m looking forward to the wedding in a month and a half. It’s gonna be awesome out there at Bona Bella!

Jodi is my sister and I love your photos. I am getting married in June. Although I already have a wedding photographer I was wondering if you could give me a quote on engagement photos at Pulaski for myself. Thanks!

Cool pictures! I am so excited for the wedding and all the other stuff before it!
